Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center (SBDC)

The SBDC offers a variety of programs, seminars, and consulting for small business owners. Their core services are New Venture Creation, Financial Analysis, Educational Programs, Strategic Business Planning, Capital Acquisition Assistance, and Entrepreneurial Training. For new businesses, the SBDC offers “The First Step: Small Business Start-Up” every four weeks at a variety of locations throughout Westmoreland and Fayette Counties. This seminar includes topics of business planning, potential pitfalls, goal setting, financing options, success factors, and PA Business Registration Forms. For established businesses, a variety of programs are frequently offered that address topics such as Financial Statement analysis, innovative management techniques, human resources, marketing and sales promotion, electronic recordkeeping, environmental compliance, tax planning, and conducting business with government.
