"The Country Squire Real Estate Building"
518 Main Street, Irwin, Pennsylvania
Built in 1890 by the contractor Gaut who also built his own home as we remember it being the old library. Gaut built this beautiful house for John Wolfe, the superintendent of Penn Gas Coal Company. Wolfe was a well admired man of the people of Irwin. |

"The brunswick Hotel"
It was located at the corner of Main St. and Second St. across from the current location of the Irwin Post Office
The brick and stone structure, built in 1895, had been on eof the leading commercial hotels in the region. During the roaring twenties, The Brunswick Hotel was known for it's fine dining and dancing. |

"Richard W. Murdock Home"
717 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin, Pennsylvania
This beautiful house was built in 1912-1913 by the Lesher Lumber under architects Benno Jannsen and Abbot of Pittsburgh. Built for Ralph and Rebecca Blanch Good Murdock. |

"First Assembly of God"
501 Oak Street, Irwin, Pennsylvania
The Assembly of God was organized in Irwin on February 5, 1937. Prior to that time the church had its origin in cottage prayer meeting which were conducted for several years. |

"The Lardo Building"
401 Main Street Irwin, Pennyslvania
The Lardo Building was built in the 1900's for Citizen's National Bank. Its has housed many business' over the years after the bank closed during the depression. Businesses such as Bell Telephone Operators, Eleanor's Dance Studio, Dr. Miller's Dentist office, Mrs. Ott Seamstress, a Donut Shoppe, Zanarine's Flower Shoppe, Simmy's Barber Shop, Model Laundry, Dr. Crumlich, Dr. Bowman, Mary Jane Beauty Salon, Sam Jackson Shoe Store and others. In 1930 Brentzel Construction Company lowered the building to street level. |
